About the Role

IGT is looking for an SQA Engineer to generate test documentation and execute tests that verify system performance. The role works independently as the primary contact with development services, and organizes, designs and directs the activities required for the test effort.

Responsibilities

• Generate test documentation and execute tests to verify that the system performs as required
• Work independently as the primary contact with development services
• Organize, design plans, direct and assist in all activities required for the test effort
• Participate in project meetings and meetings with the client
• Apply principles and techniques to evaluate systems during development
• Record, report and track defects to accurately depict the status of the system
• Recommend continuous improvements within the Central Control System
• Ensure data integrity by evaluating and recommending appropriate software and hardware solutions
• Consult with management and staff regarding development, testing and installation problems and recommend solutions

Requirements

• A college degree in a technical field, preferably computer science
• 4+ years of experience in a testing environment
• Strong understanding of the development cycle
